Frequently Asked Questions

About brightloaf

brightloaf is an anxiety support app that combines 20-minute therapy sessions with real therapists, daily check-ins, and personalised tools. All designed to fit into your life, not the other way around.

Yes. Our therapists are fully qualified and registered with BACP or UKCP. The sessions are shorter, but they're real therapy, just in a format that works for modern life.

Anyone dealing with anxiety who wants support that actually fits their schedule. Whether it's general anxiety, social anxiety, health worries, panic attacks, or work stress. If traditional therapy has felt too big, too long, or too hard to access, brightloaf is for you.

Therapy Sessions

Research shows that focused, shorter sessions can be just as effective as longer ones, especially for anxiety. 20 minutes is long enough to make real progress, short enough to fit into a lunch break. Our therapists are specifically trained to work within this format.

New therapy slots go live every Sunday at 6pm. Open the app, browse available times, and pick the slot that works for your week. You can also choose which therapist you'd like to see.

Every Sunday at 6pm, we release fresh therapy slots for the week ahead. It's a simple weekly ritual. Check in, grab your slot, and start the week with support already in place.

Slots can fill up, but there's always next Sunday. You'll also still have full access to the app, including daily check-ins, grounding tools, and personalised content, even between sessions.

Yes. You can browse therapist profiles and book with whoever feels right. You can also switch therapists anytime. No awkward conversations needed.

That depends on you and your therapist. Sessions are confidential and tailored to what you're dealing with. Some people use them to work through a specific moment, others to build longer-term coping strategies. Your therapist will guide the structure.

Yes, if slots are available. Some people prefer weekly sessions, others book as and when they need them. There's no fixed commitment.

Therapists

All brightloaf therapists are registered with BACP or UKCP and have specialist training in anxiety. They're also trained specifically to deliver effective therapy in 20 minutes. This isn't traditional therapy squeezed into less time.

Yes. Every session is with a real, qualified human therapist. No chatbots. No AI. Just proper support from someone who knows what they're doing.

That's okay. It happens. You can switch to a different therapist anytime, no questions asked.
